As Director of Talent & Experience, Melissa leads the Human Resources functions for iDS, which include strategies and tasks around: workplace culture, recruitment & hiring, onboarding, professional development, performance management, benefits, compensation, employee relations, and policy compliance.
Prior to iDS, Melissa has over 10 years of HR experience in law firms. She spent over seven years at Dickstein Shapiro, LLP with a focus on hiring and development of staff, then attorneys through lateral recruitment and On Campus Interviewing (OCI). Her experience also included developing the curriculum and evaluation process for attorneys.
Melissa is the oldest of three sisters and was raised in Delaware. She and her husband Matt live in Northern Virginia and have a 6-year-old son named Jackson. In her free time, Melissa enjoys fitness & health, hiking, the beach, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family & friends.
