Dr. Gianturco, a nationally recognized technologist with over 30 years of industry experience, is responsible for all aspects of technology strategy creation and execution at iDS.

Prior to joining iDS, Mark served as the CTO for multiple software development corporations, including two leaders in the life sciences analytics space.  He has also been responsible for creating and building corporate technology subsidiaries, and leading the architecture, design and implementation of multiple software products within those organizations.

Dr. Gianturco is a regular speaker on emerging technologies and has served as an adjunct faculty member at George Mason University. In addition to speaking engagements and being regularly published in the software engineering field, he is qualified as a court appointed expert in software plagiarism, computer forensics, eDiscovery issues, and software development.

Dr. Gianturco holds a BS in Computer Science from the College of William and Mary, as well as a Master’s in Information Systems and a Ph.D. in Information Technology from GMU.
