Chris Luciano<br>Senior Consultant, Forensics
Chris Luciano has spent eleven years doing the work that high-stakes litigation depends on: finding the truth inside mobile devices, cloud environments, and computer systems, and making sure it holds up.
At iDS, Chris brings the full depth of that experience to bear as a hands-on forensic practitioner. His work spans mobile, cloud, and endpoint investigations across the complete evidentiary lifecycle, from collection and acquisition through analysis and testimony. He has served as primary technical lead across complex litigation matters, designing bespoke forensic workflows and eDiscovery strategies built around data integrity and legal defensibility. He has directed large-scale collections and coordinated workstreams across global laboratories under rigorous litigation deadlines, testified as an expert witness in court defending forensic findings and methodologies under cross-examination, and developed and delivered technical training programs that have standardized lab procedures and accelerated the onboarding of junior examiners.
Before joining iDS, Chris built his forensic foundation at the Berks County District Attorney’s Office and the Berks County Forensic Services Unit, an ISO-accredited laboratory, where he conducted end-to-end investigations across Windows, Mac, and mobile platforms, performed advanced analysis on file systems, registries, and metadata to reconstruct user activity and timelines, and managed evidence preservation with verifiable chain-of-custody protocols. He most recently served as Senior Digital Forensic Examiner at TransPerfect Legal.
Chris holds certifications from Magnet Forensics (MCFE, MCVK, MCME, MCCE), GIAC (GASF, GCFE), IACIS (CFCE), and Cellebrite (CCME, CCPA, CCLO, CMFF). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Digital Forensics with a minor in Criminal Justice from Bloomsburg University.
