Upon investigation, the employee claimed he was highly productive in the work environment and being singled out. Ultimately, the employee was accused of the inappropriate website surfing filed a lawsuit against the employer for harassment. The client was seeking expertise in the following:<\/p> <p><strong>iDS was tasked due to their expertise in the following areas:<br><\/strong><\/p> <ul> <li> <p><em>Explaining to the client the various electronic data sources that would establish or refute the productivity claims made by the employee<\/em><\/p> <\/li> <li> <p><em>Properly collecting and analyzing the available data sources<\/em><\/p> <\/li> <li> <p><em>Establishing a clear and concise timeline of the events that occurred<\/em><\/p> <\/li> <\/ul>\n<h1>Solution<br\/><\/h1>\n<h5>iDS was engaged to retrieve data to back up claims of non-work activity. <\/h5> <p>iDS was chosen based on our reputation and deep experience in assisting clients with similar issues. The iDS Forensic and Investigative Team performed analysis and reported on the following:<\/p> <ul> <li> <p>Computer log-ons and log-offs<\/p> <\/li> <li> <p>Volume of sent emails items for any given workday<\/p> <\/li> <li> <p>Full examination of internet history to determine dates, time, and websites visited<\/p> <\/li> <li> <p>Examination of other data sources such as badge swipes to the building, parking gate swipes, and activity within databases using audit logs<\/p> <\/li> <\/ul>\n<h1>Result<br\/><\/h1>\n<h5>iDS concluded that the claims were true and the employee chose to dismiss his lawsuit. <\/h5> <p>Our team was able to show the client that the employee was spending approximately half of the workday doing non-work activity such as social media, online shopping, and surfing pornography websites.
