For practitioners, he writes, this demands investment in the discipline of data storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Presentation<\/strong> is where expectation meets reality. The so-called &#8220;CSI effect&#8221; has conditioned jurors to anticipate a decisive breakthrough \u2014 a crystal-clear recording, a forensic revelation that eliminates all doubt. Most digital forensics cases don&#8217;t deliver that. What they deliver instead is surrounding digital context: evidence that a device was under a specific person&#8217;s control, used their credentials, and that contemporaneous activity points consistently in one direction.
